Bible Verse: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34

Devotional:

Hi, it’s Renee. Today, we’re focusing on living in the present. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34 not to worry about tomorrow because each day has enough trouble of its own.

When we’re healing from past pain, it’s easy to get caught up in worries about the future. But God calls us to live in the present, trusting Him for each day. Start your day with a prayer, asking God to help you focus on the present moment and to trust Him with your future.

Spend some time reflecting on the blessings of today. What are you grateful for right now? Write these down and thank God for His provision and care. Remember, He is with you in each moment, providing exactly what you need.

Throughout your day, practice mindfulness. Pay attention to your surroundings, your thoughts, and your feelings. When you find your mind drifting to worries about the future, gently bring it back to the present moment.

Use Matthew 6:34 as a mantra when you feel anxious. Remind yourself that God is in control and that you can trust Him with your future. Focus on what you can do today and leave the rest in His hands.

End your day by reflecting on how you experienced God’s presence today. Thank Him for His provision and ask Him to help you continue to live in the present.
